Neuberger's first tokenized fund opens with two investors and $5.1m
Securitize and Neuberger launched a tokenized high yield credit fund across four blockchains on 18 August, on a fixed income platform the release says oversees more than $230bn.

The employee-owned New York manager that on 18 August 2026 acted as subadvisor to a tokenized fund for the first time, running a high yield credit strategy for a British Virgin Islands company sold across four public blockchains. Its own account puts group assets at $613bn; the fund reported $5.1m sold to two investors on its first day.
Neuberger Berman was founded in 1939, is employee-owned and independent with no corporate parent or unaffiliated external shareholders, and on its own account has about 3,000 employees in 26 countries and manages $613bn of equities, fixed income, private markets, real estate and hedge fund portfolios for institutions, advisers and individuals as of 30 June 2026. The fixed income platform credited in the tokenized fund's launch release oversees more than $230bn on the same date. Its US registered adviser, Neuberger Berman Investment Advisers LLC, holds Central Registration Depository number 124687 and Commission file number 801-61757, and reported regulatory assets under management of $398.6bn across 43,954 accounts in a Form ADV amendment of 27 March 2026, of which $146.3bn is attributable to clients who are not US persons; the Commission's adviser register lists Lehman Brothers Asset Management LLC among the firm's former names. On the tokenized fund its role is deliberately narrow: it is subadvisor, responsible for portfolio management and security selection, while Securitize Capital LLC is the investment adviser, Securitize Markets, LLC offers the interests and other Securitize affiliates provide the tokenization, transfer agency and administration.

Securitize and Neuberger launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui on 18 August 2026. The fund's Form D, filed the same day, records a British Virgin Islands issuer relying on Rule 506(c) and section 3(c)(7), a $100,000 minimum investment, and $5.1m sold to two investors on the date of first sale.
