Ethereum layer-2 network governed by MNT token holders, which votes on treasury transfers and operating powers, and which has aimed its build at tokenized assets and institutional flow rather than general-purpose applications. Its own review of the first half of 2026 reported decentralised finance value locked passing $1bn after 230% growth in the half, 155 tokenized equities listed, more than $90m of real-world-asset value locked, a $955m stablecoin market capitalisation and over $2bn of community-owned assets. The Mantle Index Four fund, a British Virgin Islands limited partnership managed by Mantle Guard holding bitcoin, ether, solana and dollar assets with yield strategies including mETH and Ethena's sUSDe, was tokenized by Securitize on the network from April 2025 with up to $400m anchored by the Mantle Treasury, making the network's own treasury its largest allocator.
