The profile

Consumer lender and blockchain infrastructure firm founded in 2018 by Mike Cagney and June Ou, which originates home equity lines of credit and records loan attributes directly on Provenance Blockchain, removing the third-party diligence step that normally precedes securitisation. It listed on Nasdaq on 11 September 2025 under the ticker FIGR, raising $787m at $25 a share, and by April 2026 reported more than $22bn of loan originations recorded onchain, including $2.9bn in the first quarter of 2026. Its Figure Certificate Company issues YLDS, an SEC-registered debt security backed by Treasuries and Treasury repo that pays a continuous yield and now circulates on Solana, while the Hastra protocol routes yield from pools of its tokenized loans into decentralised finance. It is the largest single source of tokenized private credit collateral, which makes its underwriting standards a systemic input for onchain credit markets rather than a firm-level detail.

YLDS
SEC-registered debt security that holds US Treasuries and Treasury repo, holds a fixed dollar price and accrues yield to holders.
Democratized Prime
Lending venue on Figure Markets where cash and crypto are lent against portfolios, and the source of the yield distributed through Hastra.
