The profile

Bastion sells the custody, transfer, conversion and issuance machinery that lets other companies run stablecoin programmes, either under its licences or under the client's own. Its trust company, Bastion Platforms Trust Company, LLC, is chartered as a limited purpose trust company by the New York State Department of Financial Services, and custodial wallets and conversions are provided through Bastion Platforms US, LLC, a money services business licensed by the states. It issues no stablecoin of its own. In October 2026 Samsung named it as the firm whose accounts sit behind Samsung Wallet's USDC transfers in the United States, with Coinbase as its sub-custodian through Coinbase Prime Vault. Samsung's release says Bastion has preliminary conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for a national trust bank charter.
