Zurich-based issuer of cryptoasset exchange-traded products, founded in July 2018 by Hany Rashwan and Ophelia Snyder, which listed the first crypto exchange-traded product, HODL, in 2018 and the first staking product, AXTZ, in 2019. It reports more than 50 products and over $12bn under management on its corporate site as at July 2026, listed on SIX Swiss Exchange, Euronext Amsterdam and Paris, the London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Dubai. FalconX completed its acquisition of the firm on 20 November 2025; 21Shares remains independently managed under FalconX with no change to the construction or objectives of existing products. The combination places a regulated European product issuer inside a US prime broker, which puts creation, hedging and financing of listed crypto exposure within one corporate group.
