Scope
Each report gives the figure at two dates in the month and both are recorded here, so the series is monthly in publication and twice-monthly in observation. It excludes EURC and excludes Circle's tokenised money market fund USYC. Being a par figure rather than a market capitalisation it does not match third-party trackers, which put USDC at $74.33bn on 25 July 2026 against Circle's last examined figure of $75.89bn for 29 May 2026.
