Securitize issues Hamilton Lane's HLSCOPE private credit fund on Tron

Securitize brought Hamilton Lane's tokenized Senior Credit Opportunities Fund to Tron on 2 June 2026, its first issuance on that network. The feeder fund held about $4.28m and advertised a 5.87% annual return, and was already available on Ethereum, Polygon, Plume and Optimism.

What happened

Securitize issued Hamilton Lane's Senior Credit Opportunities Fund (HLSCOPE) on Tron on 2 June 2026, the first Securitize asset deployed on that network. HLSCOPE is a tokenized feeder fund giving exposure to senior secured loans to borrowers in North America and Europe. At launch the tokenized feeder held approximately $4.28m and advertised an annual return of 5.87%. It was already issued on Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, Plume and Optimism, with cross-chain transfer via Wormhole. Securitize chief executive Carlos Domingo framed the expansion in terms of reaching networks built for scale; reporting noted Tron's account base of about 383 million addresses. Hamilton Lane has separately expanded wealth-channel access to credit and infrastructure strategies through tokenized and interval-fund structures during 2026.

Why it matters

Tokenized private credit is the second-largest tokenized asset class after Treasury products, and the constraint on growth is distribution rather than issuance technology. Placing a senior-loan feeder on a network used mainly for stablecoin transfers is a test of whether retail-adjacent onchain distribution can raise assets for illiquid private strategies. The economics deserve scrutiny. A feeder fund holding a few million dollars against an advertised mid-single-digit yield carries fee and liquidity terms that differ from the underlying strategy, and redemption mechanics in tokenized feeders remain the least standardised part of the structure.

What is not settled

Redemption terms, subscription minimums and the fee load of the tokenized feeder relative to the underlying fund are not disclosed in public reporting.
